We’ve won a third contract for national retailer Lidl.
The new outlet in Llandaff North, Cardiff, has been designed as a “bespoke” store as it had to meet specific architectural demands.
We’re supplying a number of internal screens and doors to Prestige Windows of Bristol for the 1,345 sq metre store, all fire-rated to 30 minutes integrity and insulation.
Previously, we supplied to Lidl in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, part of the supermarket’s aim of improving daylighting and reduce carbon emissions.
Our range of internal and external glazing systems combine fire resistance for up to 120 minutes with high optical quality, allowing for ambient lighting and solar control.
We can design, fabricate and install in the UK, and supplies its systems internationally. In a retail context, Wrightstyle systems have recently been installed in Hong Kong and Beirut.
“Advanced glazing systems incorporate the innate aesthetics of glass with very high levels of security,” said Denis Wright, Chairman and CEO of Wrightstyle.
“That combination also allows architects to better design smart buildings where, for example, heating costs can be minimised and carbon emissions reduced,” he said.
