Bomb resistant, bomb proof, blast resistant, anti-terrorist, security enhancement – there is a vast range of expressions used – but it all boils down to the same thing; how to protect buildings without making them look like a concrete bunker.
The Wrightstyle system is designed to withstand the blast pressure, whilst still retaining the glass within the framing profiles, and therefore preventing the type of injuries associated with flying glass.
A versatile bomb resistant system
This system is particularly versatile, accommodating high performance anti-spall glasses up to a thickness of 100mm, whilst still maintaining slim aesthetically pleasing sight lines. In addition, the basic visual arrangement remains the same, irrespective of the specification mix required.
Simply put – the best
“Our comprehensive range of primary steel glazing systems are designed to counter the specific threats of fire, smoke, ballistic or blast attack. We have pushed the boundaries of what glazed elements can achieve safely and cost-effectively – and therefore the kind of building facades that architects are now able to design.” Denis Wright – Chairman
Due to the complex nature of the specifications for bomb proof glazing systems, blast system projects have to be reviewed on a case by case basis as there is no ‘standard detail’ for these types of systems.
We are sure that you can appreciate, that due to the sensitive nature of these types of projects, we can seldom publish an array of photographs showing finished projects.
